VAPA 2019 Summer CME Conference

This activity has been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 43.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

PAs should log up to a maximum of 4.00 AAPA Category 1 Self-Assessment CME credits, as the additional weighting will be automatically applied by NCCPA.

In support of the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants’ mission, the focus of this year’s conference is to provide Physician Assistants and other providers with current medical information that will reinforce their knowledge base and introduce new concepts and clinical practice skills, through a cost-effective, evidence-based, and diverse educational program.  

Your full registration fee includes continental breakfast each morning, refreshment breaks, and lunches, as well as access to seminars, exhibits, and events as noted on the brochure and agenda.  Registration badges are required for admission to all conference events. There is a guest attendee registration rate available, should a spouse, guest or family member wish to join you at conference meals or audit the sessions (no credit will be given.)

Reservations:

The Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront hotel is the annual host for our conference. Due to the time of year, size of the conference and popularity of the location, the block of VAPA rooms sells out quickly. Staff cannot add or guarantee rooms. Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-HILTONS and mentioning the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. You can also book online here.

Room rates start at $229 per night.  Taxes and parking are not included.

Join us for the Wednesday Social Event!

Witches and wizards alike are cordially invited to the VAPA Wednesday Social Event! Walk on over (or apparate!) to Beachside Social for a casual finger food dinner and other family friendly activities for all ages. Non-alcoholic beverages are included, and a cash bar will be
available.

Registered attendees of the conference can join the social event free! Additional guests will be charged $10 if over 13 years of age, $5 if between 5-12, and all children under 5 get in free.
