In support of the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistant's mission, the mission of the VAPA Summer CME conference is: To provide Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and other providers with current medical information that will reinforce their knowledge base and introduce new concepts and clinical practice skills through a cost-effective, evidence-based, and diverse educational program. It is expected that these educational opportunities will enhance the practitioners' clinical practice.
Earn Category I CME credits while enjoying a family summer vacation.- Faculty will present their perspectives and provide you with excellent educational updates in their field of expertise.

CME Credit
This program has not yet been approved for Category I CME credit. Conference organizers plan to request approximately 38 hours of AAPA Category I CME Credit from the American Academy of Physician Assistants. The total number of approved credits is yet to be determined.

Conference Registration
Registration includes continental breakfast each morning, refreshment breaks, and access to seminars & the exhibit hall. Your conference registration also includes one all-day Adult Admission ticket to Ocean Breeze Waterpark on Wednesday, July 28 AND one ticket to a cookout buffet being offered exclusively for VAPA attendees from 5 – 7 PM at the waterpark.
“VAPA Splash!” Day is Wednesday, July 28 at Ocean Breeze Waterpark! Bring your swimsuit and your adventure and plan to get soaking wet on one of the 16 wildest and wettest water slides at the Beach! Whether you twist through the Paradise Pipeline, tube through Jungle Falls, take the plunge on the Coconut Drops or Bamboo Shoots or just float the day away in the Runaway Bay Wave Pool, spending a day at Ocean Breeze spells F-U-N For the entire family! Ocean Breeze is open from 10 AM – 7 PM on July 28 and your Admission ticket will allow you to exit and re-enter the park during the day if needed. Admission and meal tickets are also available for purchase for your additional family members. Each ticket includes admission to the park and the evening buffet. These items will not be sold separately.
Registration badges will be required for admission to all meals, seminars, and exhibit hall. Payment is due with registration form and must be postmarked by the above dates to qualify for the corresponding rate.
